About us

Hi! We're Hannah and Hanjun. WorkFromCafé began when we noticed that most cafes had quiet hours during the day with many empty tables—yet as freelancers without a permanent office, we constantly faced uncertainties finding places where we could sit for more than a few hours (even after a purchase) and that offered amenities like WiFi.

It usually takes trial and error to find the right spot. So why not make it easier for you too? With details confirmed directly by the owners, we hope this website saves you some of that guesswork. Maybe you'll discover a new place to work from, and a new local spot to support along the way.

We are currently starting from central Auckland (Mt Eden and surrounding suburbs) and expanding outwards from here. If any particular suburbs are in high demand, we will try to visit them next.
